Direct-to-Consumer Lab Testing Services

Pioneers Medical Center now offers direct-to-consumer lab testing. This program lets you skip the traditional process of having to receive a doctor’s order to get your necessary lab work. Direct-to-consumer labs are offered at a reduced cost and are basic, preventative-focused tests. They’re not intended to be diagnostic and would not require provider follow-up. At Pioneers Medical Center, we’re proud to offer this service, as it is especially important for non-insured or self-pay patients, as well as patients who do not wish to see a provider and simply want lab work completed.

How Does Direct-to-Consumer Lab Testing Work?

Direct-to-consumer lab testing allows you to come to Pioneers Medical Center during normal lab hours for your lab work. No provider order is needed. When you arrive at our registration desk, you’ll complete the required form and pay for your selected labs upfront. Our registration team will escort you to the lab for testing. Results will be available either by mail or for pickup through our Medical Records department.
