Many of the surgeries at Pioneers Medical Center are performed on an outpatient basis, which means you may return home that same day once you have fully recovered from the anesthetic.

When our certified nurse anesthetist, Russell Stagg, is not busy performing anesthesia for our surgical patients, he is focusing on pain management. Russell performs numerous types of pain injections, including:

Epidural steroid injections (ESI) for lower back pain
Trigger point injections
Brachial plexus
Interscalene blocks

Russell is also certified to place Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) for patients requiring extended pharmacological treatment.
