Pioneers Medical Center is located in the town of Meeker in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. Meeker is home to the White River National Forest, Flat Tops Wilderness Area, and nearly 1.5 million acres of land managed by the Bureau of Land Management, incorporating 580 miles of designated public trails with access from town. Whether you love hiking, biking or enjoy your ATV, OHV or Jeep, discover our neck of the woods. With over 240 days of sunshine annually, Meeker offers something for everyone.

Rio Blanco County Benefits

Rio Blanco County was one of the first counties in the state to offer countywide broadband internet; therefore, no matter where you would wish to roam, you can always stay connected. Meeker School District earned an Accredited with Distinction designation, which is made by the Colorado Department of Education. Each year, the department releases a District Performance Framework (DPF) for each school district in the state. The DPF contains a score derived from the tests required by the State of Colorado, which includes the CMAS, PSAT, SAT, among others. The Meeker School District is proud to have scored enough points on the DPF to be awarded the accreditation, which is the Colorado Department of Education’s highest possible category.
