Flexible Spending Account
A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is an opportunity to pay for medical, dental, vision, pharmacy and dependent care out -of-pocket expenses with pre-tax dollars. You can enroll in the plan and make an election for pre-tax payroll deductions. Contributions may not exceed the IRS limits for the 2020 plan year.
- Health Care FSA: This account is used to reimburse medical, pharmacy, dental and vision out-of-pocket expenses incurred by you and your dependents.
The 2020 IRS Annual Maximum Contribution is $2,750
- Dependent Care FSA: This account is used to reimburse expenses related to care of your eligible
dependents while you work. Covered expenses must be for dependent children age 13 and under,
or any person of any age that is mentally or physically incapable of caring for himself, whom you
claim as a dependent on your taxes.
The 2020 IRS Annual Maximum Contribution is $5,000 ($2,500 for married filing single)
