September Employee of the Month | Christy Atwood

Christy Atwood has been chosen September Employee of the Month!

The nomination form stated, “Christy Atwood demonstrates Exceptional Customer Service on a daily basis while serving in the capacity of Clinic Manager for Pioneers Medical Center. Representing the Clinic, Christy meets the needs of the Clinic office staff, physicians, patients, vendors and the ancillary departments within PMC. She has to juggle her time carefully to meet the needs of all concerned and still complete the administrative duties (paperwork) that her position requires. Christy enables PMC – as a facility – to carry out its daily work and business efficiently by guiding, organizing and monitoring all services within the Clinic which is often the first point of contact with our customers (patients.) Christy also jumps in wherever she is needed in her department. One day she might be working the front desk as a scheduler / admissions clerk. The next she might be an MA for one of the physicians. She is very much a hands-on manager who is willing and able to fill in where needed. Her compassion and empathy are apparent to patients, the community, and to physicians and to other healthcare professionals. Clinic Managers have been called the do-it-alls of an organization and Christy performs exceptionally and professionally in this capacity.”
