EXECUTIVE ORDER

Pursuant to the authority vested in the Governor of the State of Colorado and, in particular, pursuant to Article IV, Section 2 of the Colorado Constitution and the relevant portions of the Colorado Disaster Emergency Act, C.R.S. § 24-33.5-701 et seq. (Act), I, Jared Polis, Governor of the State of Colorado, hereby issue this Executive Order ordering individuals in Colorado to wear a medical or non-medical face covering due to the presence of coronavirus-2019 (COVID-19) in Colorado.

• This order applies to people in Colorado over the age of 10 years old when they are in public indoor spaces.
• People who do not comply with the Executive Order may be subject to civil or criminal penalties.
• Businesses that do not comply could be at risk of losing their license. (This includes healthcare facilities.)
