July Employee of the Month is Ashlie Gates!!

Ashlie Gates has been chosen as July’s Employee of the Month!  The nomination form stated,

“Ashlie Gates has been doing outstanding work to help carry the orthopedic program forward!  She is an exceptional patient advocate!  From starting with scheduling patients for a consultation with the surgeon, to being there the day of their surgery to explain the procedure, answer questions, and reassure patient and family members alike, to being there when the patient gets out of surgery, giving follow-up instructions when they go home or checking on them if they have to stay, to calling after the patient gets home and making sure they schedule an appointment with the rehab department, Ashlie is there for the patient.  She is knowledgeable, friendly, reassuring and efficient. Ashlie Gates is the face of the patient advocate!”
