This year, Pioneers Medical Center is venturing into a new medical health records program, Meditech. We are committed to excellent patient care, and this change will streamline our billing processes.
During implementation, you will see changes to our billing processes. Beginning 2/1/2023, patient balances will be forwarded to our Extended Billing Office, AR Services, in Grand Junction, CO, for follow-up of non-delinquent self-pay accounts. AR Services will bill for outstanding patient balances and set up payment plans.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When logging into your patient portal account, you may see that your account has been sent to Collections – this may not be the case. We are working with AR Services and Athena Health to mitigate any confusion this may cause.
