Comprehensive Advanced Orthopedic Care
Pioneers Medical Center Advanced Orthopedics, directed by Kevin Borchard, MD and Dan Ward, MD, work toward the goal of helping you regain the active lifestyle you desire by providing the most advanced methods in total joint surgery, revision surgery and orthopedic care available today.
Our Orthopedic Surgeons have advanced skills in total joint care and both have fellowship training in Adult Reconstructive Surgery for Knees and Hips from the New England Baptist Hospital, a premier provider for orthopedic surgery and the treatment of musculoskeletal disease and disorders. They use techniques that provide the best results for patients with the least pain and shortest recovery times possible. With their specialized training they can perform complicated repairs and revisions from prior surgeries and utilize the latest techniques, including the Direct Superior Approach (DSA) for hip replacement. This dedicated team offers unmatched expertise in the Western Slope region for total joint surgeries, coupled with comprehensive care before, during and after surgery.
Our orthopedic procedures are performed with the same clinical techniques, superb implant quality, high quality of surgical efficiency and surgeon academic training and background you would find in the largest of metropolitan hospitals. Our clinical outcomes are second to none. Coupled with small community caring and concern, we are confident you will be pleased you sought orthopedic care with us.
As with other top centers of orthopedic medicine, wherever possible we employ specialized and minimally invasive surgical techniques that allow for smaller incision sites, less tissue disruption, less discomfort and faster healing. We provide comprehensive orthopedic services including total joint surgeries, arthroscopic shoulder, knee and ankle procedures, revision surgeries to existing joint replacements, and specialized treatment for sport injuries and arthritis of the shoulders, knees and hips.
At PMC we utilize the RADLink™ Technology to ensure the best outcomes. The RADLink™ system allows for direct measurements and increased accuracy of implants. Additionally, to reduce blood loss and improve recovery.
