July Employee of the Month is Betty Lou Moyer

Betty Lou Moyer has been chosen as July’s Employee of the Month!  The nomination form stated,

Betty Lou is a very considerate, understanding person and that reflects in her as a supervisor also.  She always has time to help us when we need something explained or to solve a problem.  She is very thorough and has a great deal of knowledge about the job/Department and tries to do the best she can, if she isn’t sure about something or doesn’t know, she tries to find out.  She shows great consideration and compassion for the patients, their loved ones, and those involved with them in our care for them and helps us all to do the best for them. 

She is involved with the community and is now doing diabetic education for the community which has been a much needed service for those affected with this illness and the patients that have come for her help seem very appreciative for this service and how she teaches and treats them.  She always tries her best to make time for whomever and whatever their needs may be.  She was a member of the Board that was able to start HopeWest here in Meeker which is another wonderful help for patients and their loved ones, she delivers Meals on Wheels once a week and provides a foot clinic for the elderly and disabled who need help with trimming toe nails and foot care.

Betty Lou is also supportive of education for anyone who would like to learn; every fall we have nursing students who would like to experience Home Health Care come and spend a few days going on home visits with the nurses to understand how Home Care works.  She has also given support to those in her department with continued education.”

This honor signifies Betty Lou’s dedication to her job and our patients, and illustrates the high regard in which she is held by her co-workers.
