Pioneers Welcomes New Board Members & Elects 2020 Officers

During the regular monthly Board of Directors’ meeting for Pioneers Medical Center, the board welcomed three new board members. Regas Halandras, Suzan Pelloni, and Mark Schryver were sworn on to the seven-member board.
“We are thrilled to have Suzan, Regas, and Mark join our board. They each bring a valuable perspective that provides diversity to the board”, Said Liz Sellers, CEO Pioneers Medical Center. “I look forward to working with this great board, and am encouraged by their positive direction and hope for the future.” Suzan, Regas, and Mark will join our current board team, Kim Brown, Kai Turner, Todd Shults, and Brian Bofinger.
Additionally, the annual election of officers was held. Kim Brown accepted another term as President. Kai Turner and Todd Shults were voted Vice President and Secretary, respectively.
“As we enter the second half of 2020, we have several important projects, continued Sellers. Pioneers is in the final stages of its Orthopedic and Surgery Expansion and is beginning work on an MRI suite to house a permanent MRI machine. Having a strong leadership team is important to our overall success”.
Pioneers had three board members retire from the board this spring. “We are grateful to Bill Jordan, Karolyn Michalewicz, and Steve Parr for their years of service to Pioneers”, said Kim Brown, Pioneers Board President. “We appreciate all of their dedication and leadership in support of our local healthcare services.”
