Diagnostic Radiologists are often referred to as "the eye of medicine" because they help primary care physicians detect and diagnose disease. Radiologists bring special training and expertise to the interpretation of x-ray images. In addition to interpreting x-ray films, Radiologists use a variety of other modalities such as MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
