Position Title: REGISTERED NURSE, Medical / Surgical Unit & ED - FULL-TIME

Department:Acute Care Services/Emergency Department/Pioneers Hospital
Position Description: The professional registered nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. The professional registered nurse will provide age-specific nursing care for all ages in the acute and emergency settings. The registered nurse directs and guides patient and family teaching activities as well as the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.

Status:Non-exempt - Hourly
Shift Time Schedule:12 Hour Shifts.Average Weekly Hours:Thirty- six (36)

    Qualifications:
    Education:Minimum BSN preferred.
    Experience:2 years experience working as a Registered Nurse in a medical facility preferred. Med/Surg and Emergency experience preferred.
    Physical Requirements:Requires sitting, standing bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving intermittently during working hours.
    License Required:Current unrestricted State of Colorado licensure as a Registered Nurse. BLS required, ACLS and TNCC required within six months of hire.

    This is a full-time position eligible for full-time status benefits. This position may occassionally be on-call for the Emergency / Acute care departments.
