Not only is Meeker the heart of Rio Blanco County, it’s the gateway to the White River National Forest and Flat Tops Wilderness. Hundreds of miles of trails await outdoor enthusiasts wishing to enjoy true serenity. We’re also home to some of the country’s premier big game animals.
If you like a good celebration, plan to visit Meeker this summer. Our annual Range Call Celebration, held over the 4th of July week. Along with fantastic rodeos, the event is filled with live music, fireworks, a parade, food and fun. Additionally, Meeker is home to the world renowned Meeker Classic Sheepdog Trials.
