Our Laboratory at Pioneers is a CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Ammendment) certified facility. The PMC laboratory staff are certified Medical Technologists and Medical Laboratory Technicians that have credentials from A.S.C.P. (American Society for Clinical Pathology).

Laboratory personnel perform a multitude of tests:
  • General chemistry
  • Hematology
  • Microbiology
  • Blood banking/transfusion medicine
  • Urinalysis
  • Coagulation.


    Our laboratory also provides drug-screening services for companies striving for a Drug-Free workplace as well as for employers maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. Additional laboratory services are provided through Roaring Fork Valley Pathologists. Patient test results are confidentially forwarded to your physician for interpretation.

    Laboratory hours are 8:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and can be reached at (970)878-9279. After-hour coverage is provided on an on-call basis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency services.
